I began my real estate career in 2000 and have enjoyed every minute of it! It's been my pleasure to help my clients make the move to, and within, lower Westchester. Watching a family realize their dreams come true is so gratifying. Allow me to help you open the door to your new home!
With its easy commute (28 minutes into Grand Central Station!) and it's small town feeling, it doesn't get much better than the Pelhams.
Pelham boasts terrific schools, including 4 elementary schools - Prospect Hill, Siwanoy, Colonial and the Hutchinson School. There's one Middle School and high school (Pelham Memorial HS). Looking for nursery schools? There are plenty of nearby affordable and nurturing options!
Residents enjoy an easy, relaxed feeling all the while living in Manhattan's backyard. There's definitely something for everyone...Enjoy one of the country's oldest continuously running single screen movie theatres, The Pelham Picture House, a charming and well stocked Pelham Public Library and easy access to the Long Island Sound and The New York Athletic Club's Travers Island. Into golf? Check out Pelham Country Club.
Pelham is a suburban town in Westchester County, New York, approximately 14 miles northeast of Midtown Manhattan. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 12,396. Pelham is the oldest town in Westchester County. Thomas Pell signed a treaty in 1654 with the Siwanoy Indians to buy what is not only the Town of Pelham but is all of the Bronx, and the land along Long Island Sound, north to the Rye border. The State Legislature incorporated the Town of Pelham on March 7, 1788, and at that time included all of City Island and what is now Pelham Bay Park east of the Hutchinson River. In 1895, the Town of Pelham was reduced to its current area. Two Villages were incorporated within the Town, the Village of Pelham Manor in 1891, and the Village of Pelham, in 1896.
Whether you're looking to escape city living, or looking for more space, or perhaps just want a change of pace, I'm here to help you in your search. With many years of experience and a true compassion for the process, both financial and emotional, I understand and will walk you through it all. I can provide trusted referrals and recommendations. I enjoy what I do and love to help write "new" chapters for my clients - who happily turn into neighbors and friends!
